1. Make CO line (auto access CO line)

In the method of auto access CO line: Lift handset → hear the CO line dialing tone from PSTN → dial
phone number. (The redial key in the telephone is active)

In the method of access CO line by dialing 0: Lift handset → hear the intercom dialing → dial 0 to access CO line → dial phone number.

2. Make CO line (by accessing the choice of CO line)

In the method of auto access CO line: Lift handset → dial8M M means CO line code 1-8to occupy CO line M → dial phone number.

In the method of access CO line by dialing 0: Lift handset → dial 8M M means the CO line code 1-8to occupy CO line M → dial phone number.

3. Intercom

In the method of auto access CO line:

Lift handset → dial→ dial extension number

In the method of access CO line by dialing 9:

Lift handset → dial extension number directly

4. Incoming call receive

Operator Assistant: Hearing the ringing, lift handset and you can talk to outside caller. The no-ringing
extension can pick-up the incoming call by dial *98.

Auto Attendance: When outside call comes in, the caller dials the extension number after hearing the OGM of Auto Attendance. In this state, if dial 0 for inquiring number or no dialing or dialing wrong number, the incoming call will automatically transfer to extension 11. If the extension called is busy, and this extension does not program transfer when busy, the DJ-832 will automatically transfer to extension 11; if extension 11 is also busy, you could program transfer to other extension when busy, as the second console even the third console and so on.

5. Call pick up

Explanation: Any no-ringing extension can pick-up the call (CO line or intercom) from the ringing extension at the same DJ-832.

6. Call Transfer
An extension is conversing with CO line party, and dial # + transferred extension number.
Explanation: Any extension converses to CO line, regardless incoming or outgoing, it can both be transferred to the other extension; in the course of transferring, the CO line party could not hear the conversation between you but only waiting music. And there is two types:
Transferor extension is shortly called A Transferred extension is shortly called B

Transfer with consultation: A is talking to outside line party, A dials the extension B, hold the line and wait for answering from B: If B answers the call, A and B can consult about the CO line, if B wish to talk to CO line, A just need hang up and B can put through the CO line; if B does not wish to talk to CO line, B hangs up and A connect back to the on-hold party (CO line) again. If B does not answer the call within 25 seconds, A will connect back to the CO line. During the consultation, CO line party hears the on-hold music all through and won’t hear the consultation between A and B.

Transfer directly (without consultation):
A is talking to outside line party, A dials the extension B and then hangs up directly. B hears the ringing and lifts the handset; B can talk to CO line party. If B does not answer the call after 25 seconds, system will re-call B, if A does not answer after 30 seconds, system will automatically cut off.

7. Secretary Call
An extension put through a CO line first, then # + the extension number that needs to transfer.
8. Transfer when busy or no answer after 25 second
Set Transfer: Lift handset and dial *96 + extension want to transfer, it ‘s ready when you heard dialing tone.

Cancel Transfer: Lift handset and dial *960, it has done when you heard dialing tone

Explanation: Either CO line or intercom can program transfer when busy and can transfer many times. For example: if extension 11 is busy, it can transfer to extension 12, and if extension 12 is also busy, it can transfer to extension 13, etc. When there are a few CO lines in use, this option can set a few consoles. While set transfer when busy, could not program in endless circles. For example: Transfer extension 11 to extension 12, when extension 11 is busy then transfer back to extension 11 when extension 12 is also busy, the DJ-832 is forbid to program like so.

9. Call Parking
Parking: When an extension is conversing with CO line, dial # 0, it will park the CO line.

To retrieve a parked call: Lift handset, listen for the dialing tone, and dial *93, the parked call will be connected to you.

Explanation: When the CO line is being parked, the caller would hear the waiting music only. And the call parking does not disturb the other operation of extension. If the call parking time is more than 30 seconds, the CO line will ring the parking extension, if the extension is busy, and the CO line is still been parking, any extension can retrieve the parking call.

10. Override or monitor

Lift handset of an extension that was authorized override, and dial 91 + extension number of 3 digits, if the extension number is less than 3 digits, add a “*” .
11. Switch the service between day and night
Lift handset, for day service, dial *900;
for night service, dial *901.

Explanation: The service between day and night mainly direct the incoming call. It rings the different
extension and answer in different modules. It can answer intelligently according to the different on-duty time.

12. Extension Password lock

Lock: Lift handset, listen for dialing tone, dial * 92 + extension password (3 digits).

Unlock: Lift handset, listen for dialing tone, dial * 92 + extension password (3 digits).

Explanation: If you are to go out temporary, and do not want others to use your phone. You could lock the call by the extension security code. Being locked, this extension could not make CO line. If the security code is forgot, you can unlock it through system programming.

13. Announce extension number by voice
Lift handset and dial *97 just do work
Explanation: When an extension number is unknown, this option will tell you the number.
14. Broadcast
Lift handset of any extension, listen for dialing tone and dial * 89, you can talk to the receiver of the telephone. The content of talking will broadcast outside through the external public-address system.
15. Extension Call Meeting
Then extensions that want to attend the call meeting, lift handset at same time or early & late, and *89all the extension that have lift handset will be put through together, which will form a local call meeting system. Any extension can attend or exit it at any time,and does not effect the extension call meeting.
16. OGM (Outgoing Message) Recording
Lift handset of extension 11, dial *950, then you can record by receiver of extension 11 in normal speaking speed. Replace the handset at once after the ending of recording.

17. OGM Reviewing

Lift handset of extension 11, listen for dialing tone, and dial *951 and you will hear the recording.

Memo: Record it again, if you are not satisfied with the recording quantity; No restriction for the recording times and the new recording will cover the old one.

18. 3 pieces of OGM recorder-able Recording

Explanation: The default state of system is one piece of recording. This unit adopts central voice processing system, when 3 pieces of OGM is recorded, the function of Announce extension number by voice (through dial *97) will be canceled, so you need to mark the extension number of each extension port before you set 3 pieces of OGM recording.

Before Recording:
Lift handset of extension 11, and dial *99 E F G H # (EFGH means system programming password, the default password is 0000), when dialing tone is heard, dial 9101#, dialing tome is heard again, and hang up.

Recording:
